Consignment Policy
Revolution Gunworks will acquire at our discretion, any firearm, ammunition and or industry related accessory from a private seller to be sold in our physical store location under consignment at no cost to you (private seller). Your (private seller’s) item(s) will be available for purchase in store and will also be listed for sale on Revolution Gunwork’s website. Private seller will determine the sale price for said item(s). If no sale price is set by the private seller, we (Revolution Gunworks) will set the sale price at our discretion. Revolution Gunworks (as seller) will retain 12% of the sale price the item is sold for as a commission, directly upon the sale of said item(s). The remaining 88% of the sale of said item(s), goes directly to the private seller. Private seller’s portion of said sale will be available immediately upon Revolution Gunwork’s receiving and processing of payment from buyer/purchaser and will be issued to the private seller in the form of cash or company check at store’s physical location. Company check can also be issued and mailed to private seller’s address. As the private seller, you have the right to reacquire your consigned item(s), at no cost, from Revolution Gunworks at any time, with the exception of firearms (see consigned firearm(s) process below).
Consigned firearms from private sellers (as the transferor) will be acquired by Revolution Gunworks (as the transferee), at no cost, via firearm transfer transaction ATF Form 4473. Private seller (transferor) will be required to sign and date 4473 form as the seller (transferor) upon reception of said firearm(s). This legally transfers ownership of said firearm(s) from private seller (transferor) to Revolution Gunworks (transferee). This process is required as per Federal Law.
Private seller (transferee) may only reacquire said firearm(s) from Revolution Gunworks (transferor), at any time, if the item has not sold under consignment, for a transfer fee of $25 (payable by private seller /transferee) to Revolution Gunworks (seller/transferor), via firearm transfer transaction ATF Form 4473 and must pass NICS background check. A valid Idaho Concealed Weapons Permit qualifies for bypassing the NICS background check.
If you (private seller/transferee) are disqualified to reacquire said firearm(s) from Revolution Gunworks (transferor) as per Form 4473 and or Revolution Gunworks (transferor) receives a denied response on the NICS background check, Revolution Gunworks (transferor) may not legally transfer said firearm(s) back to you (private seller/transferee). Revolution Gunworks (transferor) will then provide you (private seller/transferee), the necessary information to challenge the denial, including the name of the denying agency, the transaction number and a brochure outlining appeal rights from the FBI. Local law enforcement is notified and depending on the specifics, the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) may get involved to seize the firearm(s) or take other legal action. Revolution Gunworks (transferror) retains ownership of said firearm(s) until further notice and direction of involved agencies.
